3D humanoid animation has been used to simulate human being characters in a variety of their related applications such as 3D games, 3D virtual conferences, 3D tutoring systems and 3D tour guide systems. To give a specification of definition of interchangeable human figures over Web environments, ISO standards for humanoid modeling and animation have been developed as H-Anim by ISO/IEC JTC1 SC24/WG6 members. In current H-Anim standards, a human character is represented to be a skeleton. However, the standards do not represent natural skeleton modeling with respect to hands and feet. In this talk, we propose a method for modeling skeletons of hands and feet in H-Anim standards. The results of this paper are going to be used for naturally animating human characters.
